It's not fair
Nowadays discrimination makes women or
men feel uncomfortable in different situations. In past both sexes
had their own roles, it was a stereotype that woman had to stay at
home, raise and look after children, prepare food, clean the house,
be patient and less powerful than her husband. Also she had to
produce an effect of a good wife and be good-looking. At that time
man had to work to earn money for his family. He didn't do anything
in house and spent little amount of time with children. One thing he
had to do is to find such a good woman and made her wanted to become
his wife. Do you think it is fair?
Time passed but little things changed.
People look modern, women wear jeans, they can study in university,
can be ambitious and things like that but do they have more power
than in the past? Of course yes. However most of the presidents are
men, most of religion leaders are man, i can say a lot of examples
like politics, pilots, surgery etc.where women have less power and
opportunities than men. When woman and man come to an interview for a
good job, man will have more chances to have this job than a woman.
Why the company will take a man? Maybe of the thoughts that men are
more powerful and calm than women.
One more strange thing is that some
women want to be weak and want men to help them and be support for
such women. The other ''girls'' want to be free, to be leaders, to
have a prestige job and be rich and not to find a support but find a
man of the same ideas. This is a better way of life and in my opinion
sexism exist because of the first type of woman and because of the
stereotypes but it's not fair at all.
